One years old!

 Christian my sweet baby. 

You just turned ONE! I cannot believe it. I can easily say your first year was one of the best years of my entire life. 

You are the type of baby that loves to be carried and loves to crawl around.

You can be put in your bed to put youself to sleep and you can be rocked to sleep.

You are content to be spoon-fed or you are happy to shovel the food in your mouth with your own hands.

You're happy with the toy you happen to be holding and you're fine with Estella taking it from you.

When you were a new eater you only liked food that was well seasoned and delicious (That's the Cooper in you), now you like lots of foods.

When you were about 6 months old you loved to play with the plastic snap that goes to your changing table it was so cute like you were so excited to see that strap at every diaper change. 

When you're outside you hangout out by the back porch waiting for someone to open the door. When you're inside you sit by the backdoor waiting for someone to open the door. I think you're really going to enjoy the freedom that comes with going in and out of the house when one pleases someday. 

On Thursday there was a relief society activity I went to. Dad was at a YM campout. I left Meriden in charge and you were asleep. Estella woke you up. I had told Meriden if you woke up to feed you some black beans. When I came home and inquired what you'd had for dinner she declared that you ate an entire can of black beans. My first thought was that you were going to be sick from eating so many beans.... however, I took one look at your high chair and saw where the entire can of beans had gone. You must have just scooped it directly down by your bum because that's exactly where it was. 

You just started loving walking around holding my fingers and I think you'll be walking very soon. You usually crawl with your bum up high in the air. 

You are one early bird and are usually up first sometimes waking up at 5:30/6:30am...It has actually helped me with my goal of getting up and having scripture and yoga done before the other kids wake up. Thanks!

You have 5 teeth and have had the 5 for probably 1 months now. You have such. cute goofy grin.
